“Two men blow up IED inside Indian restaurant in Canada, multiple injuries,” RT, May 25, 2018:

Police have released a photo of two suspects who detonated an explosive device in a restaurant in Mississauga, a city in the Canadian province of Ontario. At least 15 people have been injured.

Police say they received a call for “an incident” at 10:32 pm and have cordoned off the area. Local media report that there has been an explosion at an Indian restaurant in the central area of the city.

Police and paramedics say the total number of injured people is at least 15.

Some locals are posting on social media that incendiary devices were found at the scene. When asked about those reports, the police media officer neither confirmed nor denied it….

Two men were reportedly seen entering the restaurant seconds before the explosion went off, Toronto Sun columnist Joe Warmington wrote on Twitter, citing a witness….

Ramadan in the Netherlands: Muslims break windows of Hindu temple, a “frequent target during Ramadan”

“Windows of Hindu Temple broken: ‘Frequent target during Ramadan’” translated from “Ruiten hindoetempel ingegooid: ‘vaker doelwit geweest tijdens ramadan,’” by Max Pijnenburg, WNL.tv, May 23, 2018 (thanks to Searchlight Germany):

The windows of a Hindu temple in the Schilderswijk in The Hague were broken overnight on Tuesday. According to the chairman of the Hindu prayer house, the prayer room is a conscious target.

President Siddarth Ramdhani describes the situation in the temple as a great havoc. In the building, stones have been found, with which the windows were smashed. They were presumably thrown from a playground opposite the prayer house.

“They must have done their best, because both windows have double glazing,” Ramdhani told Omroep West. “There are a lot of glass fragments in the room. Fortunately, the perpetrators did not come inside.”

‘Conscious attack’ on the Hindu temple

The president suspects that this was a conscious attack on the Hindu temple, which has often been the target of vandalism during Ramadan. “Not only during Ramadan, but also during our own religious festivities, we are harassed by young people.”

Ramdhani hopes that the publicity will cause the vandals to stay away.

Ramadan in Pakistan: Sunni Muslim mob tears down historic Ahmadi mosque

“Historic Ahmadi mosque demolished by mob in Pakistan,” The New Arab, May 24, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

A mob in Pakistan tore down a historic mosque belonging to the country’s Ahmadi community on Thursday, in the latest act of violence against the minority Muslim sect.

The attack took place in the eastern Pakistani city of Sialkot, with videos showing Sunni extremists tearing down the place of worship. No worshippers are believed to have been in the mosque at the time of the attack.

The mosque had been an important place of worship for Pakistan’s persecuted Ahmadi sect for the past 135 years.

It was said to be visited by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad who founded the faith and is considered to be a prophet by its followers.

Ahmadis were declared “non-Muslims” by Pakistan in 1974, depriving them of many basic rights.

Ahmadis say that dozens of other mosques in Pakistan have been destroyed or closed down by authorities….

Sweden: Police warn lots of rapes will happen this summer and advise women not to go out late

Why must they?

“Swedish police warn lots of rapes will happen this summer and advise women not to go out late,” by Joshua Cullen, Voice of Europe, May 19, 2018:

After two rape attempts in Östersund this weekend, the police urged women not to go out late. They also issued a warning that “much like this” will happen this summer, Fria Tider reports.

Two similar rape attempts took place this weekend, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Police explained the same offender could be involved: A 175cm tall man, of about 25 years, dark haired and darkly dressed.

Police investigator Suss Braunerhielm said in an interview with P4 Jämtland: “This summer, more like this will happen, I think” she added that women “should be alert and preferably not go out late”.

She added that people should accept the new situation and that they should take precautionary measures:

“Do not change your life but be vigilant, absolutely. Feel free to talk to your mobile phone, get in touch with someone familiar, preferably do not go late. Then we can probably accept that it’s simple,” Braunerhielm said….

Sweden: Police to grant Islamic group right to broadcast call to prayer, refuse to consult the public on the matter

Now comes word that:

Police in the Swedish municipality of Karlskrona are expected to grant the local Islamic association the right to broadcast the call to prayer in public and are refusing to consult local residents on the decision because it would be too much hard work.

The mainstream Islamic Cultural Association in Karlskrona is pushing for the loud broadcast.

“Local Church of Sweden Archbishop Fredrik Modeus who called it a ‘well thought-out decision’ and once compared the Muslim call to prayer to church bells.” This misguided man, like so many, does not know that in Islamic law:

dhimmis are “forbidden to openly display wine or pork…to ring church bells or display crosses…recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays” (Reliance of the Traveller, o11.5(6)).

In March, Swedish Education Minister Gustav Fridolin told the “Hungarian government and ruling Fidesz party to stop using Sweden as an example of failed mass migration policies.” Unfortunately, Sweden is clearly the model of everything not to do with immigration policy.

“Police in Swedish Municipality Refuse to Consult Public on Islamic Call to Prayer Broadcast,” by Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, May 16, 2018:

Police in the Swedish municipality of Karlskrona are expected to grant the local Islamic association the right to broadcast the call to prayer in public and are refusing to consult local residents on the decision because it would be too much hard work.

The Islamic Cultural Association in Karlskrona expects to receive a positive decision from the local police early next week on whether they will be allowed to continue to broadcast the call to prayer, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

The request, which was passed on to the police following a referral by the environment and social committee, would see the call to prayer be broadcast from the minarets of the Kungsmarken mosque, one of the largest in the country.

The mosque had previously begun to issue the call to prayer in November 2017, but shortly after it had emerged the Muslim association had not applied for the correct licencing and so the call to prayer was temporarily stopped.

The decision will come only weeks after the Islamic Association in the town of Växjö was granted the ability to publicly broadcast the call to prayer every Friday in the early afternoon by police and the local government.

The move was even celebrated by local Church of Sweden Archbishop Fredrik Modeus who called it a “well thought-out decision”….
