Islamic State supporters celebrate Trudeau’s election in Canada

“Allah Akbar and thanks to Allah, and the crumbling of the Crusader alliance continues. #Canada stops its strikes against the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq.” The Islamic State jihadis know who their friends and allies are, although they don’t seem to have noticed that Obama’s airstrikes are largely cosmetic in nature and face-saving in purpose, and aren’t a genuine attempt to “degrade and destroy” the Islamic State.

“Pro-ISIS Activists React Joyously On Twitter To Canada’s Elections,” by Elliot Zweig, MEMRI, October 29, 2015 (thanks to Tony):

…The October 19, 2015 federal elections in Canada, in which Justin Trudeau led his Liberal party to victory and assumed the post of prime minister-designate after nearly a decade of Conservative rule, has elicited the usual diplomatic reactions of congratulations from world leaders and ambassadors. Less known, but perhaps of greater significance, is the reaction by what can be described as “online ambassadors” of the Islamic State (ISIS) and other jihadi fighters and online activists via their social media, and particularly on Twitter….

Prolific pro-ISIS cyber-security activist Abu Adam Al Maghrebi (@wilayatFezzan) tweeted on Election Day: “Reports coming in that Canada’s Liberal Party will be taking a majority position in tonight’s elections.” The next tweet read: “If they win the elections, they will eventually withdrawy [sic] from the anti-IS coalition.”

Others commented on Al Maghrebi’s tweets, including AbuAiysha (@WilayatAnbar):

Justin albequw: “I highly doubt they will withdraw cause at the end of the day Canada is a u.s. lab [sic] dog and the u.s. is owned by the yahuud.”

AbuAiysha: “Trudeau’s father was also the PrimeMinister.”

AbuAiysha: “Your right, Liberals said ‘we will support fight against IS but won’t send our jets’”

Ustaz Hussein: “Trudeau was a decent man, his son is like him. This will be a huge antiwar political victory in Canada.”

US to allocate $100 million more to “moderate” Syrian opposition

This moderate Syrian opposition is made up of Islamic jihadists. Former Defense Intelligence Agency director Michael Flynn recently confirmed that the Obama Administration knowingly decided to support al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria, and directly enabled the rise of the Islamic State. The rebels are not by any stretch of the imagination “moderates”: they’re pro-Sharia Islamic jihad terrorists. Remember, the Obama Administration spent $500 million to find and train “moderates” in Syria, and could only come up with fifty trainees.

“US to Allocate Additional $100Mln to Support Syrian Opposition,” Sputnik, October 31, 2015:

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States will allocate additional $100 million to provide assistance to the so-called Syrian moderate opposition, thus amount of US support since 2012 will total $500 million, US Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement Saturday.

“This morning, I am pleased to announce that the United States will provide an additional $100 million in assistance in support of the Syrian opposition — bringing our total support for their efforts to $500 million,” a statement said.

Syria has been engulfed in a civil war since 2011, as Syrian government forces fight opposition factions and extremist groups, including Islamic State (ISIL) and the Nusra Front insurgent groups.

Since the beginning of the Syrian civil war, the United States and its allies have supported opposition factions they consider to be “moderate,” and have called for President Bashar Assad to resign….

Islamic State group in Egypt claims it downed Russian airliner, killing 224 people

This claim may or may not be true. It may simply be intended to give the Islamic State the appearance of greater reach and power than it actually has. After all, as Muhammad said, war is deceit.

“IS group in Egypt claims it downed Russian airliner,” AFP, October 31, 2015 (thanks to Steve):

Cairo (AFP) – The Islamic State group’s affiliate in Egypt has claimed it downed the Russian passenger plane that crashed Saturday in the Sinai Peninsula, where the jihadists are waging an insurgency, killing all on board.

“The soldiers of the caliphate succeeded in bringing down a Russian plane in Sinai,” said the statement circulated on social media.

Kashmir villages clash over who would get the honor of burying slain jihad terrorist

We are constantly told that Islamic jihadists are a tiny minority of extremists, shunned and abhorred by the vast majority of Muslims. Someone forgot to tell the Muslims of the villages of Bugam and Khandaypora in Kashmir, which clashed over which would get the honor of burying Abu Qasim, a leading jihad terrorist. If the mainstream narrative about Islam were correct, both Bugam and Khandaypora would have refused to bury him, and his relatives would be searching for a place that would take his remains. Note also that thousands of people attended his funeral.

“Violent Protests Ensue As 2 Kashmir Villages Clash To Claim LeT Terrorist’s Body,” PTI, October 31, 2015:

SRINAGAR — Residents of two villages of Kashmir clashed with each other today over the right of burial of the body of Pakistani terrorist Abu Qasim, a top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit, who was killed in an encounter yesterday.

Qasim’s body was buried in Bugam village of Kulgam district but people from the same district’s Khandaypora, where he was killed, wanted the body to be exumed for burial in their village, police sources said.

Before the burial in Bugam, thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers for Qasim, whose real name was Abdul Rehman and hailed from Bahawalpur in Pakistan’s Multan district.

However, residents of Khandaypora went to Bugam, demanding that the body of Qasim be exhumed so that he could be buried in their village where he died, police sources said.

To lay claim over his body, a family from Khandaypora village even claimed that Qasim was their “long lost son” who had joined militancy 15 years ago.

The residents of two villages then clashed over this issue, they said….

Bangladesh: Muslim group murders publisher of Islamocritical writer they murdered previously

“I saw him lying upside down and in a massive pool of blood. They slaughtered his neck. He is dead.”

“When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (Qur’an 47:4)

These kinds of murders will continue unless world authorities stand up and make a robust defense, in word and action, of the freedom of speech. Instead, they are surrendering to violent intimidation. And in the West, ostracism and mainstream media vilification of critics of Islam stands in, for now, for the knife’s blade.

Faisal Arefin Dipon

“Bangladeshi secular publisher hacked to death,” BBC, October 31, 2015 (thanks to Lookmann):

A Bangladeshi publisher of secular books has been hacked to death in the capital Dhaka in the second attack of its kind on Saturday, police say.

Faisal Arefin Dipon, 43, was killed at his office in the city centre, hours after another publisher and two secular writers were injured in an attack.

They are the latest victims in a series of deadly attacks on secularists since blogger Avijit Roy was hacked to death by suspected Islamists in February.

Both publishers published Mr Roy.

Mr Dipon was found dead at the Jagriti Prokashoni publishing house, in his third-floor office.

“I saw him lying upside down and in a massive pool of blood. They slaughtered his neck. He is dead,” his father, the writer Abul Kashem Fazlul Haq, said, quoted by AFP.

Earlier on Saturday, armed men burst into the offices of publisher Ahmedur Rashid Tutul.

They stabbed Mr Tutul and two writers who were with him, locked them in an office and fled the scene, police said….

Mr Roy, a US citizen of Bangladeshi origin and critic of radical Islamism, was murdered in February. His wife and fellow blogger Bonya Ahmed was badly injured in the attack.

Three other bloggers have since been killed.
