Muslim Star Wars actor: Put Muslims on TV or they will join ISIS

“Ahmed urged television producers to embrace diversity and have more Muslim representation, or young people will feel alienated and will be more vulnerable to joining extremist groups. ‘If we fail to represent, we are in danger of losing people to extremism.’”

Ahmed’s victimhood narrative is self-contradictory. He was born in Wembley; he grew up in England. So presumably while he was growing up, young Muslims didn’t have any significant presence on British television — yet he himself wasn’t lost to “extremism.” If he wasn’t, why does he think any other Muslim will be? Clearly representation on television is not what determines whether or not a Muslim will join the jihad. Ahmed is simply engaging in more of the familiar victimhood posturing to which Muslim spokesmen so frequently resort. It must be extremely effective in obtaining for them special favors and accommodation.

“Star Wars Actor: Put Muslims On TV Or They Will Join ISIS,” by Andrew Kugle, Washington Free Beacon, March 3, 2017:

Star Wars actor Riz Ahmed gave some advice on how to fight the terror group ISIS.

During a Thursday speech to Channel 4’s annual diversity lecture in Parliament, Ahmed urged television producers to embrace diversity and have more Muslim representation, or young people will feel alienated and will be more vulnerable to joining extremist groups.

“If we fail to represent, we are in danger of losing people to extremism,” Ahmed said.

“In the mind of the Isis recruit, he’s the next James Bond right? Have you seen some of those Isis propaganda videos, they are cut like action movies,” he continued. “Where is the counter narrative? Where are we telling these kids they can be heroes in our stories, that they valued?”

Ahmed recently starred in Rouge One: A Star Wars Story as the defected imperial pilot Bodhi Rook. He has appeared on HBO’s “The Night Of” and “Girls.”…

Ahmed suggested that the government should take action to help solve the problem of diversity in British television. He suggest that the government withhold funds until there is minority representation.

UK Muslim: “In our religion, Islam, it’s OK to have slaves,” wanted to buy nine-year-old sex slave

In Islamic law, it is normal: the seizure of Infidel girls and their use as sex slaves is sanctioned in the Qur’an. According to Islamic law, Muslim men can take “captives of the right hand” (Qur’an 4:3, 4:24, 33:50). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have paid their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses of those whom Allah has given you as spoils of war” (33:50). 4:3 and 4:24 extend this privilege to Muslim men in general. The Qur’an says that a man may have sex with his wives and with these slave girls: “The believers must win through, those who humble themselves in their prayers; who avoid vain talk; who are active in deeds of charity; who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or whom their right hands possess, for they are free from blame.” (Qur’an 23:1-6)

The rape of captive women is also sanctioned in Islamic tradition:

Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id al Khadri (Allah he pleased with him): 0 Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) mentioning al-’azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born. (Sahih Muslim 3371)

It is also in Islamic law: “When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman’s previous marriage is immediately annulled.” (Umdat al-Salik O9.13)

The Egyptian Sheikh Abu-Ishaq al-Huwayni declared in May 2011 that “we are in the era of jihad,” and that meant Muslims would take slaves. In a subsequent interview he elaborated:

Jihad is only between Muslims and infidels. Spoils, slaves, and prisoners are only to be taken in war between Muslims and infidels. Muslims in the past conquered, invaded, and took over countries. This is agreed to by all scholars—there is no disagreement on this from any of them, from the smallest to the largest, on the issue of taking spoils and prisoners. The prisoners and spoils are distributed among the fighters, which includes men, women, children, wealth, and so on.

When a slave market is erected, which is a market in which are sold slaves and sex-slaves, which are called in the Qur’an by the name milk al-yamin, “that which your right hands possess” [Koran 4:24]. This is a verse from the Qur’an which is still in force, and has not been abrogated. The milk al-yamin are the sex-slaves. You go to the market, look at the sex-slave, and buy her. She becomes like your wife, (but) she doesn’t need a (marriage) contract or a divorce like a free woman, nor does she need a wali. All scholars agree on this point—there is no disagreement from any of them. […] When I want a sex slave, I just go to the market and choose the woman I like and purchase her.

Around the same time, on May 25, 2011, a female Kuwaiti politician, Salwa al-Mutairi, also spoke out in favor of the Islamic practice of sexual slavery of non-Muslim women, emphasizing that the practice accorded with Islamic law and the parameters of Islamic morality.

A merchant told me that he would like to have a sex slave. He said he would not be negligent with her, and that Islam permitted this sort of thing. He was speaking the truth. I brought up [this man’s] situation to the muftis in Mecca. I told them that I had a question, since they were men who specialized in what was halal, and what was good, and who loved women. I said, “What is the law of sex slaves?”

The mufti said, “With the law of sex slaves, there must be a Muslim nation at war with a Christian nation, or a nation which is not of the religion, not of the religion of Islam. And there must be prisoners of war.”

“Is this forbidden by Islam?” I asked.

“Absolutely not. Sex slaves are not forbidden by Islam. On the contrary, sex slaves are under a different law than the free woman. The free woman must be completely covered except for her face and hands. But the sex slave can be naked from the waist up. She differs a lot from the free woman. While the free woman requires a marriage contract, the sex slave does not—she only needs to be purchased by her husband, and that’s it. Therefore the sex slave is different than the free woman.”

Iraqi Ayatollah Al-Haeri said in April 7, 2016 that a man could offer slave girls to a friend for sex.

The savage exploitation of girls and young women is, unfortunately, a cross-cultural phenomenon, but only in Islamic law does it carry divine sanction.

“Radical Muslim Plotting to Join Islamic State and Enslave 9-Year-Old Girl Faces Jail,” by Liam Deacon, Breitbart, March 1, 2017:

A Muslim convert from London, who wrote in his diary how he planned to buy a nine-year-old virgin slave girl after he joined Islamic State, faces jail for terrorism offences.

Patrick Kabele from Willesden, Northwest London, was stopped at Gatwick Airport on his way to Sabiha Gokcen Airport in Istanbul on 20 August 2016, Metropolitan Police revealed in a statement.

The 32-year-old, who wrote in his diary he had a “death wish”, was found guilty of preparation of terrorist acts by a jury sitting at Woolwich Crown Court Tuesday. He was remanded in custody.

Giving evidence during the trial, Mr. Kabele insisted slaves are allowed in Islam.

“In our religion, Islam, it’s OK to have slaves. The prophet had slaves, so I’m talking if I ever possess slaves,” he said. “I’m saying slaves is connected to the religion. It’s an integral part of our religion.”

The former scaffolder, who practised martial arts, also wrote about “seeding some women over here, UK white” and said “I dont kiss anymore” in the diary he stored on his phone.

The Daily Mail reports that the extremist also wrote: “My plan remains the same. It’s only my [attitude] towards women and children, i.e. not giving a f*ck.

“I am talking seeding women. Chinese, Indian, whatever. In Uganda, multiple wives and sh*t on the side.”

He added in one entry: “‘If i ever marry again its gotta be a virgin 9yrs old as what i would want. The younger & experienced [sic] the better.

“I wouldnt rule out a matron to protect my self from the sun till i have the funds for a young virgin. I dont kiss anymore.”

In another entry, he wrote: “If i ever possess slaves i wont free them except maybe on my death bed fisabillah. With priority given to those who become muslim first.”

Then, on 5 August, Mr. Kabele wrote: “I want to fight on the frontline where there’s the heaviest gunfire/thickest action, I got a death wish but not by my own hand.”…

Islamic State: “We will certainly plant our flag over America, China, Russia, and all the infidels of the world”

And one Islamic State jihadi threatened China’s “evil Chinese Communist infidel lackeys”: “In retaliation for the tears that flow from the eyes of the oppressed, we will make your blood flow in rivers, by the will of Allah!”

“Infidels”? “The will of Allah”? Don’t these Islamic State fighters realize that their aggression has nothing to do with Islam? Are George W. Bush and Pope Francis on their way to Raqqa to explain Islam to them?

“Uighur IS fighters vow blood will ‘flow in rivers’ in China,” by Michael Martina and Ben Blanchard, Reuters, March 2, 2017 (thanks to Ray):

BEIJING (Reuters) – Vowing to plant their flag in China and that blood will “flow in rivers”, a video released this week purportedly by the Islamic State group shows ethnic Uighur fighters training in Iraq, underscoring what Beijing sees as a serious threat.

China is worried that Uighurs, a mostly Muslim people from western China’s Xinjiang region, have gone to Syria and Iraq to fight for militant groups there, having traveled illegally via Southeast Asia and Turkey.

Islamic State claimed responsibility for the killing of a Chinese hostage in 2015, highlighting China’s concern about Uighurs it says are fighting in the Middle East.

Hundreds of people have been killed in Xinjiang in the past few years, most in unrest between Uighurs and ethnic majority Han Chinese. The government blames the unrest on Islamist militants.

The Iraqi arm of Islamic State has released a half-hour long video purportedly showing Uighurs training, as well as some images from inside Xinjiang, including Chinese police on the streets.

One shot that shows Chinese President Xi Jinping gives way to flames in front of a Chinese flag.

“Hey, brothers! Today, we are fighting with infidels across the world! I’m telling you this: Come and live here! Stay strong!,” one of the fighters says, according to Uighur speakers who analyzed the video for Reuters but declined to be identified.

“We will certainly plant our flag over America, China, Russia, and all the infidels of the world,” it says. In another scene, a man chanting in Uighur says: “Our land of sharia has been constructed with spilt blood.”

The video then shows pictures of people who were said to have become “martyrs”, and identified as “al-Turkistānī”, or men from Turkestan, the name many Uighurs use for Xinjiang.

One of the men speaking has an accent from Yarkand, close to the old Silk Road city of Kashgar in Xinjiang’s southern Uighur heartland, one of the people who reviewed the video said.

Another fighter refers to the “evil Chinese Communist infidel lackeys”.

“In retaliation for the tears that flow from the eyes of the oppressed, we will make your blood flow in rivers, by the will of God!” he says….

Saudi police pack two transgender Pakistanis into a sack and beat them to death with sticks

The lie that the Islamic State implements a vile aberration of Islam is common, yet the worst human rights abuses continue to be committed in the name of Islam elsewhere. The barbarous religious police in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia forced two transgender women into a sack and beat them to death with sticks. Transgender rights activist Qamar Naseem states: “Torturing humans after throwing them into bags and beating them with sticks is inhumane.”

Back in November a transgender Muslim woman was hacked to death beyond recognition in Russia, days after her father stated: “Let him be killed, I don’t want to see him. Bring him here and kill him in front of my eyes.”

The victim was from Dagestan, a Muslim region in the Russian Trans-Caucasus. A Dagestan mufti declared: “Changing sex is totally forbidden, because it means that a man will be a woman.” Disapproving of this is one thing, but killing those who engage in it is quite another.

“Two transgender Pakistanis ‘are packed into sacks and thrashed to death with STICKS’ by police in Saudi Arabia “, by Gareth Davies, UK Daily Mail, March 1, 2017:

Two transgender Pakistanis were reportedly packed into sacks and thrashed to death with sticks by police in Saudi Arabia.

The pair from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan, were arrested in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for cross-dressing in public.

It is a punishable offence in the kingdom for a man to imitate a woman and officers arrested 35 people in a raid on a guest house.

Police recovered women’s clothing and jewellery and took those arrested into custody.

It was here that Amna, 35, and Meeno, 26, are said to have been beaten to death while under police surveillance in prison.

Colonel Fawaz bin Jameel al-Maiman, the police’s media spokesperson in Riyadh, told The Tribune: ‘The majority of the arrested are from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and the others from other cities of Pakistan.’

A transgender rights activist said only 11 of the 35 had been released after paying a fine of 150,000 riyals, meaning 22 are still in custody.

Qamar Naseem said: ‘Torturing humans after throwing them into bags and beating them with sticks is inhumane.’

While 11 were released later after paying a fine of 150,000 riyals (£32,000), 22 are still in police custody, Naseem added.

‘The suffering ended for these two after being physically tortured, however, the rest are still languishing in Saudi jails….

Islamic State on killing spree of Christians in Sinai

Sinai Christians have become a target for the Islamic State, which is now “waging an insurgency against the Egyptian government in Sinai” and “has turned to targeting Christian civilians after suffering setbacks in its confrontation with the army.”

On February 19, ISIS released a video threatening attacks on Christians as a follow-up to its December bombing of St. Mark’s Cathedral in Cairo, which killed 28 people. The video described Christians as “infidels” and enemies of Islam.

The video included a masked man who shouted the words: “Oh crusaders in Egypt, this attack that struck you in your temple is just the first with many more to come, God willing.”

Here we see the same propaganda about “crusaders” against Islam, when it was the Islamic Arab invaders who conquered Egypt by bloody force in the 7th century.

“I am not going to wait for death,” Rami Mina, who left Arish on Friday morning, said by telephone. “I shut down my restaurant and got out of there. These people are ruthless.”

Where are Western nations to help innocent, non-threatening Christian refugees who are being singled out for slaughter by the Islamic State?

“Egypt’s Christians flee Sinai amid Islamic State killing spree”, By Ahmed Aboulenein, Reuters, February 24, 2017:

Christian families and students fled Egypt’s North Sinai province in droves on Friday after Islamic State killed the seventh member of their community in just three weeks.

A Reuters reporter saw 25 families gathered with their belongings in the Suez Canal city of Ismailia’s Evangelical Church and church officials said 100 families, out of around 160 in North Sinai, were fleeing. More than 200 students studying in Arish, the province’s capital, have also left.

Seven Christians have been killed in Arish between Jan. 30 and Thursday. Islamic State, which is waging an insurgency there, claimed responsibility for the killings, five of which were shootings. One man was beheaded and another set on fire.

“I am not going to wait for death,” Rami Mina, who left Arish on Friday morning, said by telephone. “I shut down my restaurant and got out of there. These people are ruthless.”

Sectarian attacks occur often in Egypt but are usually confined to home burning, crop razing, attacks on churches, and forced displacement.

Arish residents said militants circulated death lists online and on the streets, warning Christians to leave or die.

“My father is the second name on their list; anyone Christian they put on the list” Munir Adel, a vegetable seller who fled on Friday, said as he huddled with four family members at the Evangelical Church, waiting for church officials to find them a place to stay.

Adel’s parents did not leave Arish because of their old age, he said. “They could be killed at any moment.”

VIDEO THREAT

Islamic State released a video on Sunday threatening Egypt’s Christians and vowing to escalate a campaign against them after it bombed a chapel adjoining Cairo’s St Mark’s Cathedral, the seat of the Coptic papacy, in December, killing 28 people.

“Oh crusaders in Egypt, this attack that struck you in your temple is just the first with many more to come, God willing,” said a masked man in battle-dress the group said blew himself up in the chapel.

Orthodox Copts, who comprise about 10 percent of Egypt’s 90 million people, are the Middle East’s largest Christian community. They have long complained of persecution.

The Coptic Orthodox Church denounced “the recurring terrorist incidents in North Sinai targeting Christian citizens” in a statement on Friday.

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi told military and police chiefs “to completely eradicate terrorism in northern Sinai and defeat any attempts to target civilians or to undermine the unity of the national fabric”, in reference to the killings, his office said on Thursday.

Egypt is battling an insurgency that gained pace in 2013 after its military, led by Sisi, overthrew President Mohamed Mursi of the Muslim Brotherhood. Hundreds of soldiers and police have been killed.

Major General Mostafa al-Razaz, North Sinai’s deputy police chief, said security forces were capable of handling the “crisis” and that they added more patrols and checkpoints.

But Sinai’s Christians say security forces on the ground are unable to protect them and are overwhelmed by the militants.

“The government does nothing. There is no security in Sinai, they can’t even protect themselves,” said Adel…..
