Muslims are commanded to obey their religion with especial strictness during the time of Ramadan. Too often, this results in a higher number of terrorist attacks all through Islam’s “holiest” month.
TheReligionOfPeace.com has documented and counted Islamic jihad attacks ever since September 11, 2001, when devout Muslims flew two full passenger airliners into the World Trade Center’s twin towers in New York and another passenger jet into the Pentagon, killing 2,977 innocent people. Some 44 of that number perished when United Airlines Flight 93 hit the ground in Pennsylvania — after heroic passengers valiantly sought to reclaim control of the plane from its terrorist Islamic hijackers.
Since that fateful day, Muslims who scrupulously follow the Quran have committed 31,084 deadly jihad attacks (and counting), while killing innumerable other people for not following prophet Muhammad’s strict Sharia laws. That equals an average of 5 deadly jihad attacks each day.
The hard-working man behind TheReligionOfPeace website, Glen Roberts, also counts the number of attacks and people killed during each Ramadan. In 2016, 238 attacks were carried out in the name of Allah, with a total of 1,850 killed.
By 2017, “only” 174 jihad attacks were executed, with a total of 1,595 killed in the name of Islam. A quick review of these numbers shows that, while fewer attacks happened last year, the number of fatalities per event rose from 7.8 (in 2016) to 9.2 (in 2017) — an almost 20% increase. Just as telling is how, at his site, Roberts notes that there wasn’t “a single attack (that we could find) in the name of another religion during the ‘holy’ month.”
A few former US presidents, including Barack Obama, annually hosted an Iftar dinner, a White House religious celebration held during Ramadan.
The bill for these events was footed by taxpayers and often required months of planning. At one such Iftar dinner, Obama lied outrageously, saying that “Muslim Americans have been part of our history since the founding of the country.” Obama then claimed that there was a “rise in attacks against Muslim Americans” — a bold assertion in a time when Americans and Europeans were being killed or injured several times a week by Muslim terrorists.
America’s first exposure to Islam was in connection with bands of Muslim pirates and slavers (see The White Slaves of Barbary) off North Africa’s coast in the 19th century. Just like today, these Muslim freebooters robbed merchant ships and ransomed their captured crews. American historians have dubbed this conflict The First Barbary War.
It is no coincidence that the black pirate flag with its white skull and bones is so similar to Islam’s black jihad flags with their white symbols and scripture. This pirate flag, popularly dubbed the Jolly Roger, originally was a banner of Islamic jihad used by black-bearded Muslim brigands. Historian Giles Milton writes: “The flags on their mainmasts depicted a human skull on a dark green background – the menacing symbol of a new and terrible enemy. It was the third week of July 1625, and England was about to be attacked by the Islamic corsairs of Barbary.”
However, President Donald J. Trump has chosen to break the tradition of Iftar dinners in the White House. Rumors say he played golf instead.
